APYS Projects provides firewall installation and configuration work for business networking requirements across India. Discuss a new deployment, replacement or configuration change with the existing network layout, connectivity and access requirements.
Installation and configuration scope
Agree appliance placement, WAN/LAN interfaces, IP addressing, required routes, NAT and access policies. Define which users, services and network zones need to communicate. Firewall sizing and compatibility should be reviewed against the proposed traffic and services.
VLAN and network segmentation
Coordinate firewall rules with the switching and VLAN design. Discuss separation of staff, guest, server and other networks where required. Specify the allowed traffic between zones and the administrator responsible for approving policy changes.
VPN and remote connectivity
Discuss site-to-site or remote-access VPN requirements, supported endpoints, user access and authentication. Confirm dependencies on internet connections, compatible remote devices and required licences or subscriptions before implementation.
Testing and handover
Agree checks for permitted traffic, blocked traffic, WAN access and the VPN connections included in the scope. Confirm configuration backup, administrator handover and documentation requirements. Schedule production changes around approved maintenance windows.
Licences, support and exclusions
Equipment supply, subscriptions, renewals, internet-provider work and ongoing monitoring should be identified separately in the proposal. AMC coverage and support arrangements are agreed per project. Installation alone is not a claim of a security audit, penetration test or guaranteed protection against all threats.
